finding hollywood nobody Do you have young woman living in your house? If so, you need to get your hands on a copy of Finding Hollywood Nobody!

I’ll admit I was reluctant to read this book for the FIRST Blog Association. Young Adult Fiction isn’t really my favorite genre. But this book was different.

First of all, Lisa Samson uses a very unique writing style. There are no chapters. The sections of the book are separated by dates and times instead. At first I thought it a bit strange, but it really fits the book.

Scotty is a teenage girl, who travels with her grandmother, who is a food stylist for movie productions. They are on the run from some strange biker dude, who has been following them for quite some time.

While traveling, Scotty mostly homeschools herself. She’s outgoing, so she easily strikes up friendships with the locals. It is through these friendships that she comes across serious issues.

In a fun and zany way, Finding Hollywood Nobody hits on some serious topics, such as doing the right thing, teenage pregnancy, and listening to God.

Sounds like a very interesting book, and a good one for teen girls. I’ve outgrown this genre too, but I’d read this book. :)
