Joan Sanderson feels like she’s leading a boring life. Her older sister Allie is married with a family. Her younger sister Tori has moved out and is beginning an exciting new career. Meanwhile, Joan is left at home, working a boring job and caring for her beloved grandmother.
But then the new neighbor moves in. He’s a good looking doctor with an ill-mannered dog. Joan is interested, but so is Tori. Will Joan be able to compete with her hip younger sister?
Stuck in the Middle is all about relationships. The relationship between sisters. The struggle between a daughter and her mother. The memories of a father who abandoned his daughter. A budding romance. Dealing with an aging grandparent.
I loved this book, because it was real. The sisters don’t have perfect relationships. They get jealous. There’s plenty of sibling rivalry.
I loved Joan, because she wasn’t the perfect Christian girl who always had a pleasant attitude and trusted God with everything. She struggled. And yet she strived to become a better Christian throughout the story.
I even loved the guys in this story. Allie’s husband with his straightforward nature. Ken and the way he had to deal with the squabbling sisters.
I give Stuck in the Middle five out of five stars.

I love Christian fiction!
Looks like a fun book…and who can resist 5 stars!
Please enter me –thank you!
I don’t see how this can possibly have a happy ending when 2 sisters are after the same guy, but that’s the great thing about Christian Fiction. There is always a happy or hopeful ending.
Please enter my name into your drawing. Maybe I’ll learn how to be a better sister.
Please count me in for this drawing - I would love to try more Christian fiction books!
Sounds like an interesting read. While I’m not a middle child (I’m the oldest), but I’m sure I can be reminded of important truths when it comes to relationships.
Hey, this is my kind of book. I’m the middle of three sisters, so I can relate. It sounds like a fun book to read…thanks for the chance to win!
Please enter me in the drawing. Thanks!
